Day 26 - Accidental [Voice]

[When he returned, a certain young demon overlord would seem almost unrecognisable at first. One such indicator was the lack of his trademark headphones. They’re still back in his apartment, previously dropped during that kidnapping last year. He’s also seemingly unaware of his now blue wings, like he used to have when he first arrived in Luceti a few years ago.

However, his behaviour was...odd, almost like a New Feathers, and his journal picked up on it without his notice.]

Brother? Where are you, my brother?

[His accent sounded old and unfamiliar. It’s unsurprising, since it’s from the time before the shattering of languages.

But he’s still lost and worried. It’s not like him to get lost so easily, when he was following his brother very closely.]

...Is this a test from the Lord? Or did a demon lead me astray?

[It’s a few of the assumptions Abel the Shepherd have in mind. They’re the most logical reasons he can think of at the moment. One of his wings twitches, and he glance at it with a curious yet baffled look.]

If so...why do I have wings? I am not an angel.

[He was surprised when he first saw them. How? Why? He can ask all the questions on his mind, but Abel wouldn’t know how to approach this. That may be why he's speaking his thoughts out loud.]

...My Lord?

[Can God hear his words? Of course He can, but will He send him a message?]

(OOC: So Kouki now thinks he's Abel. As in the Bible Abel. Memories wise, the murder haven't "happen" to him yet. Will last for about a week.)

[He wouldn't appreciate being told he's someone else, the confusion would make things worse.

But how curious. Another who resemble himself in looks and is not one of his relatives?]

And? What else do you do? Do you have any friends or family back home?

[Stay gentle, Hiro. Wouldn't want to baffle this poor guy much further.]

I do. I have my father, mother and my brother.

[There is a sense of fondess when he mention his brother.]

I see... you've got a whole family back home. Do you have a place to stay here? If not, you can stay with me. The guy I know who looks a lot like you normally lives with me, but since he's not here... maybe you should stay with me for now. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. [Since he technically IS you and all... well, that's another matter.]

Are you sure? My presence would not be intruding?

[Staying at a place where someone who looks like him used to be at. He wonders if it's a good idea.]

I think it'd be fine! There used to be three of us in the apartment, but one of us went home recently, so there's a spare room for you.

[Isn't that something... Kouki was the one to give Hiro a home when he first came to Luceti. Now he's giving Kouki a home, sort of.]

You have my heartfelt gratitude.

[He's honestly grateful. So unused to interacting with people outside of his family or the angels, Abel wasn't sure if people would let him stay with them.]

You're welcome! I couldn't just have you sleeping outside when it's this cold, and we have a spare room. So I figured, why not lend a hand?

[That and he wanted to make sure his roomie was safe in this state. It'd be good to keep an eye on him.]

Thank you. May I know where is your home?

Well, it depends where you are, first. What do you see around you?

The forest. All I see are trees around me.

Okay, so you must be in the south-western portion of the village. Go east until you see a bridge. Cross the bridge, then at that fork in the road, turn left. At the next fork, turn right and follow the road, and eventually you'll reach a big building. That's where I live. I'll even wait outside for you, if you'd like.

[He mentally repeats the directions in his mind, trying to memorise it as well as he can.]

...I would like that. I will try to find your home.

Alright! I'll be waiting for you!

[Hiro heads outside to look for Abel, but keeps his journal open just in case.]

[Even if it's tempting, Abel stop himself from getting distracted and follow Hiro's directions as closely as he can.

The closer he get to his destination, the more he looks around at the village. So different from what he's used to, far more people than he know. It's very much not like the village his family live in.

He stops when he see a tall building. Is that it..? He looks around for Hiro.]
