[The experiment had gave him the altered memories and the 'experience' of that choice. He want to hear what Naoya thinks. Maybe he got unlucky in that 'future', maybe that's what will happen if he choose that, regardless.]

Atsuro wants to give people control of the demons. The Bels exist so only one demon has control of all the others.

If there's no longer a purpose for them, they're not just going to vanish.
