Day 17 - [Action] | [Voice]

[It's a little disorientating at first.

One moment, he just left the meeting room after finished talking with Naoya. Then, he found himself in the forest in the New Feathers clothes...and a pair of black wings.

Not surprised by the colour, Kouki quickly picked up his journal and make his way towards the village. The plaza for his belongings, to be exact. The young demon overlord would rather avoid meeting Moro out here. That is, if the wolf god is still around.

Once he's at the plaza, he head for the clothing store to pick up his outfit. His clothes during the lockdown...and the black cloak. Hm. If anyone asks, he'd just say it looks cool. It won't be a lie, too.

Afterward, he walks to the item store for his things. The now useless COMP, his headphones and the MP3, things he keep around out of sentimentality. And considering his position, he can choose to wear the headphones as he pleases.

Before he went to CH7, he opens his journal.]

Did anyone take care of Kotone while I was gone?

...Anyone mind telling me the date and cycle?

[Light and casual. As if he just returned from a trip, not from his home world. And really, it's still strange for Kouki to go from a serious atmosphere to a more...peaceful one. Even knowing what Luceti is like.

At least his enemies aren't here. He can relax a little. Only a little.

After that message, he walks to CH7. However, instead of the usual shortcut, he decided to follow the path from the plaza and making a stop by the Welcome Centre, too. Both to check on the plants and maybe see Miss Rydia. Otherwise, back to CH7 and see if his cat is still around.

If anyone encounter him, they'd see Kouki carrying a folded up black cloak in his arms. Otherwise, they can answer him over the journals.

For some people, they might notice something...different about him, other than the different wing colour.]

[Rydia is pacing about the Welcome Center, sorting and putting away supplies, but she glances up when the door opens. Perking up, she waves.]

A bit, but that's normal for this time. How are you doing?

I'm doing well. Just getting used to Luceti again.

[She gestures to the plants.]

I've been looking out for them as best I can, while you've been away. They seem to be thriving, but I blame that more on the spring weather than any talent of mine.

[Busiest days of his life. He looks at the plants.]

They brighten up the place a lot...and besides, caring for them reminded me of certain friends. I was glad to do it.

[She heads into the kitchen to snag the pitcher, a tray and a couple of glasses.]

[While she do that, Kouki's looking over the plants. Reaching out, he touch one of them gently. He do miss tending them, it's not...destructive.

When Rydia comes back, she might or might not notice his different wing colour.]

[He pause, trying to recall the date before he left and to place a name to this voice.]

I've been away for a few days or so...Rise-san?

[While he's home for what, weeks? Rather long ones.]

I don't know. I haven't heard from you since after the experiment.

[A pause to recall that time.]

I was [resting up] busy at the time, after the experiment.

I see...I'm sorry, everything was really kinda strange after that. Kinda awkward too.

Anyway, are you okay? Why're you asking for the date?

Awkward is right. [He got dumped into Naoto's bed after the experiment back then. Thanks, Malnosso.]

I'm alright. Just got back from home a while ago, so I dunno how long I've been away by Luceti's time.

[Under normal circumstances, she would've thought that he'd just gone exploring- after all, didn't someone say that they wanted to explore the area around the village? But then, his first sentence about a Kotone clicks and she realises.]

...they took you.

Yeah, they did.

[Back to the lockdown, where everyone's waiting for him. To make the choice that will decide everyone's fate.

He finally made his choice.]

Did they hurt you? There should be someone at one of the clinics if...
