Day 26 - Accidental [Voice]
[When he returned, a certain young demon overlord would seem almost unrecognisable at first. One such indicator was the lack of his trademark headphones. They’re still back in his apartment, previously dropped during that kidnapping last year. He’s also seemingly unaware of his now blue wings, like he used to have when he first arrived in Luceti a few years ago.
However, his behaviour was...odd, almost like a New Feathers, and his journal picked up on it without his notice.]
Brother? Where are you, my brother?
[His accent sounded old and unfamiliar. It’s unsurprising, since it’s from the time before the shattering of languages.
But he’s still lost and worried. It’s not like him to get lost so easily, when he was following his brother very closely.]
...Is this a test from the Lord? Or did a demon lead me astray?
[It’s a few of the assumptions Abel the Shepherd have in mind. They’re the most logical reasons he can think of at the moment. One of his wings twitches, and he glance at it with a curious yet baffled look.]
If so...why do I have wings? I am not an angel.
[He was surprised when he first saw them. How? Why? He can ask all the questions on his mind, but Abel wouldn’t know how to approach this. That may be why he's speaking his thoughts out loud.]
...My Lord?
[Can God hear his words? Of course He can, but will He send him a message?]
(OOC: So Kouki now thinks he's Abel. As in the Bible Abel. Memories wise, the murder haven't "happen" to him yet. Will last for about a week.)

[He frowns, pondering about that phrase. Bel, like in his name. But he shake his head, uncertain.]
...Nothing.

[ If anything would jog his memory, that would have been the thing she expected. ]
I don't know what has happened to you then. I would not think it you if not for your name and appearance.

...What do you know of me?
[He is mildly curious, but he's not expecting much. He is, after all, just a mere shepherd.]

Despite being a human you entered the war to become the King of Bel. You were victorious and took your place as king of demons. Now you were starting to wage war against God back in your world.
[ Hopefully that's enough information to suffice. ]

[His eyes widen. Of all things, Abel did not expect to hear that. Him, the king of demons? And that last sentence...]
What do you mean by "war"? [Another foreign concept, but he feels like he won't like the answer.
Being the king of demons is shocking enough, almost surreal to him. Demons are the natural enemies of God, why would he be their king? But also, waging war would mean...?]

[ That was his brother, right? She remembers there was something about how they also had some other relationship, but can't recall what that was about anymore. ]

[Coming from a time before everything happened, Abel couldn't imagine himself doing that. When she mentioned "brother", the first person that came to his mind was Cain. He love his brother and look up to him as his first companion in life, it's only natural to think of him first.
But...why?]
Brother...my brother would never want that! He would never want to turn on the Lord!
[Is he being naive? Blindly believing in his hardworking brother, who grew his best crops for the offering? It's almost inconceivable to imagine Cain wanting to overthrow God.
And himself for following it.]

I already told you your memories have been changed.

But still, to fight against God? That's just not possible. Not only that, but Abel still have his ingrained sense of familial loyalty to his brother. Compared to that, this woman is still but a stranger to him.]
...You did. The truth will be revealed to me, when the Lord wills it.
[And what then? Her words turn out to be lies? Or the truth? It's something he want to talk with Cain about. He is silent, as he muse over his thoughts.]

[ Well. Time to sit back and see how long this lasts... ]
