There's a lot of different people here, as well as talking animals. [Moro comes to mind.] Magic, science from those sci-fi stories...even people that are fictional from my world.

Hmmmmm, we don't have nearly as many -- there aren't a lot of us -- but let's see... There's a girl who can control watter and another little one who can do fire, a guy who knows dynamite, a baseball player with these weird rain flame things and a ton of swords, some kind of demon, me, and of course you with the demons. When they let you have them, anyway, that's less than a fifth of the time.

Well, there was this time we had to fight some orcs. So they gave you -- the other you -- three demons again. And you wouldn't just not use them and let us all get hurt, right? That'd be nothing like the you that I know, at least. They were a really big help to all of us.

Yeah. I would use them if we can get out of things, safely. I'm sure he's glad you don't hold his demons against him.

He was badly wounded. We couldn't do anything for him. And he told us to destroy a ring, but we didn't even do that. Two of our number were kidnapped, but we never made our charge on the orc stronghold. None of that even mattered. It didn't matter that we'd failed. Everything was just returned to the way it was, except that we never saw that boy again. And we were all blind for two days.
